WANDERLUST IN ARABIA

Strutting along the corniche, feeling the waft of sea breeze on your cheeks, a gaze at the sapphire Persian Gulf and even ecstatic azure up in the sky, you know that life is always summery and full of sunshine in this part of the world.

A concoction of different faces and ethnicity, I guess everybody has a different recipe for chicken soup. For the soul or for the stomach, either ways it is. A slice of pie for all and sundry, this city serves you superlative malls, magnificent mosques, swanky wheels on the road all this with streets and souqs full of woody whiff of Oud and Shawarma.

Though nothing here is more than 40 years old, I feel the place is however to make history. Let the grime settle in for a while. Let the soaring towers bake in the scorching Arabian sun, I feel that this piece of land will exude a different charm altogether. The land of gazelles sure has a lot of Arabic essence around its horns.
